Phoenix Blogger Spotlight

Blogging is an art form that is attempted by many and perfected by very few. Phoenix Spark exists for only one reason: to feature local Bloggers who have mastered their trade.

We have dabbled in the trade and are constantly awed by the literary prowess of many local Bloggers.  We can only aspire to attract the following and participation of these Masters!  So we embark on this journey to award those who deserve a larger microphone.

If you are reading this, you are probably a proficient, or at least aspiring, blogger.  Do you know someone whose blog is especially unique or just simply special?  We would love your nominations and will consider every submission.  Those that are “Spotlighted” on Phoenix Spark will be eligible for an award…voted on by our audience.

Here are some criteria for our Blogger Spotlight:

• Local Focus: While “Local” can be a relative term…we are most interested in “Spotlighting” those bloggers whose primary focus is on the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.
• Unique Content: Anyone can grab a printed story and re-write it as new content…that is not what we are after.  We are searching for those bloggers who put some thought into their trade and provide the community with interesting twists on current events or those that voyage into uncharted territory.
• Audience Participation: There are blogs that languish in obscurity and those that galvanize, or polarize, an audience.  We believe that Content is important, but a fervent following is King.

If you know someone who should be nominated, please fill out our nomination form.  You may even nominate yourself…we don’t care who submits the nomination, only that the Blogger nominated adheres to our criteria above!
